Activities | RIRCOM Ham Radio Events & Training

The Training & Publishing Wing (Om V. Ramesh Kumar (VU2JFF)) organises ASOC coaching, classroom sessions, and on-air mentoring. RIRCOM has conducted programmes at schools, polytechnics, and engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu since the 1990s.

ASOC examination preparation for students, Home Guards, scouts, and school clubs
Ham radio lectures and hands-on demos at engineering colleges and polytechnics
Demonstrations and awareness programmes at higher secondary and primary schools
ISDR (software-defined radio), antenna-building, and homebrew HF workshops
Disaster-management and emergency-communications training for counsellors and NGOs
Satellite communication and triband HF introductions for college students
